Jiu Jitsu, translated “The Gentle Art,” is a ground-based grappling discipline that empowers women and girls by teaching them to use technique and leverage to overcome brute strength, focusing on strategic positioning rather than sheer power. Beyond physical training, jiu jitsu provides a profound sense of personal security and capability, tapping into strengths we may not have known we had. Our welcoming classes are designed to build confidence and resilience, creating a safe and supportive environment for participants of all skill levels to grow and connect. Each class begins with a 30-minute hiit-style fitness workout to boost strength, followed by an hour of jiu jitsu techniques and training.
SELF-DEFENSE CLASSES
Our self-defense program empowers women and girls with practical skills and the confidence to protect themselves in real-life situations. With a focus on building awareness, setting boundaries, and mastering techniques effective for all body types, it fosters resilience and a deep sense of personal security. Each class begins with a 30-minute hiit-style fitness workout to build strength and endurance, followed by an hour of hands-on self-defense techniques. KICKBOXING CLASSES
Our kickboxing program is designed to take you from the basics to real-world application, building confidence and skill along the way. It starts with our Intro to Kickboxing class, the perfect entry point where you will learn the fundamentals of striking, kicking, and holding pads while developing a strong foundation. From there, our Kickboxing Fundamentals classes help you refine technique, improve power and precision, and continue growing in a high-energy, supportive environment. Coming soon, our Applied Kickboxing class will take your training to the next level, offering a controlled setting to practice your skills in real-life scenarios. Each 60-minute class is designed to leave you feeling strong, empowered, and connected to a supportive community that lifts you up every step of the way.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Our classes welcome all skill levels, focusing on building strong foundations in an encouraging, supportive space. Each session is crafted to help you feel confident and supported as you grow. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10 minutes early to begin your journey with ease.
WHAT TO WEAR
We encourage you to wear whatever activewear allows you to feel most comfortable. Covering your arms and legs for added protection is entirely up to you. Please remove loose or bulky jewelry and leave your shoes at the mat’s edge before stepping on to begin class. We train barefoot or in socks – it’s your call!
WHAT TO BRING
Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. We’ve got all the fitness, self-defense, and kickboxing gear you’ll need. You’re welcome to bring a towel should you prefer. Our amenities bar has complimentary little lifesavers like hair ties, dry shampoo, makeup wipes, and tampons – ready just for you!
